Pork Steamed with Pumpkin

 


Pork Steamed with Pumpkin is a Chinese cooking method. They like steamed dishes because they don't need to use oil. They like food that is not oily. 

To steamed,we use the pork belly ,with soft bone in it. 


Here's how to make :


Ingredients:


250g pork

1/4 pumpkin


Seasoning:


1 clove garlic

1 clove shallot

1 tablespoon dry black bean (tausi) 

1 teaspoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

A little sugar


Instructions:


Clean the chopped pork and put it in a bowl.


Chop the shallot and garlic, rinse the black bean paste.


Then put all the seasoning in the bowl with the pork and mix well.


Put the meat in the refrigerator for about 1 hour before cooking to let the flavor penetrate into the meat.


Before cooking, cut the pumpkin into small squares or according to preference. Arrange them in a circular shape around the plate, then place the marinated pork in the middle.


Steam for about 30 minutes.


The result will be tender with a short steaming time, but still cooked.


And it's ready to be served while still hot.
